Stowarzyszenie “Pomorskie w Unii Europejskiej” jest formą partnerstwa regionalnego samorządów województwa pomorskiego, uczelni oraz innych instytucji działających na rzecz wszechstronnego i efektywnego rozwoju Województwa Pomorskiego oraz kreowania jego pozytywnego wizerunku zarówno w Polsce jak i całej Europie.

“Pomorskie in the European Union” Association, established by the Pomorskie Region authorities, is a partnership of regional and local self-governments, regional development agencies, universities, cultural institutions and other actors.

We are acting for the development of the Pomorskie Region by being a channel of information between the Pomorskie stakeholders and the EU actors, lobbying for European and Pomorskie interests and fostering a positive image of Pomorskie on the European scene. We are helping Pomorskie be a full-fledged partner within the EU.

We have developed extensive cooperation links with European organisations and institutions in various fields and topics i.e.EU cohesion policy, financial instruments, education, transport, R&D, innovation and Baltic cooperation.

The Association accomplishes its tasks by means of the Pomorskie Regional EU Office in Brussels and the Local Office in Gdańsk, created in 2004, in response to the growing importance of regional policies in the European Union and the need for direct contacts on the European scene.
